JESUS the Philosopher

The Jewish philosopher BARUCH SPINOZA’s (1632-1677) MAJOR DISCOVERY : Jesus a mortal man, simply had taught Philosophy in the style of Socrates (469 bce-399 bce) with maieutics. Nothing more, NOTHING LESS.

■ Jesus the Philosopher was a Socrates but crucified rather than killed with a hemlock beverage as it was the case with Socrates (469 bce-399 bce). A Jew having lived in the Roman province of Palestine rather than a Greek of Athens.

■ Jesus had offered a path for THE PERSONAL EPISTEMOLOGICAL GROWTH : APPLIED PHILOSOPHY.

Like what Pythagoras (575 bce -495 bce) had offered.

Like what Confucius (551 bce-479 bce) had offered.

Like what Siddhartha Gotama Shakya (566 bce- 486 bce) had offered

Like what Socrates (469 bce-399 bce) had offered.

Like what Aristocles Kodros aka Plato (427 bce-347 bce) had offered.

Like what Zeno of Kition/Citium (334 bce-262 bce) had offered.

Like what Baruch Spinoza (1632-1677) had offered.

etc.

Nothing more, NOTHING LESS.

■ The video mentioned many names in the centuries after Spinoza (1632-1677) all having contributed to the modern understanding of Jesus : A MORTAL MAN HAVING ACHIEVED HIS EPISTEMOLOGICAL JOURNEY and HAVING RETURNED TO THE CAVE for DISCUSSING and SHARING with HIS FELLOW HUMAN BEINGS, nothing more, NOTHING LESS but sadly got trapped by an intolerant, scheming, dogmatic, delusional priesthood and executed by the Roman Empire because perceived by the Romans as the leader of a political rebellion even if Jesus said crystal clear that his Kingdom is not of this World. Poweful people are a tad paranoid when their power is at stake so it’s not a big surprise that the Romans did not really believe Jesus.

■ TRUTH HAS NO EXPIRATION DATE contrary to lies. Truth simply waits patiently for minds courageous enough to discover it.
