Note: this is from my good friend and fellow China Writers’ Group member, Wei-Ling Chua (Amazon.com: Wei Ling Chua: books, biography, latest update)

Mao Zedong decided not to take his son’s body back to China. So, he was buried in North Korea, together with all other sacrificed Chinese soldiers.

Mao, one of China’s greatest 20th-century poets wrote: 青山处处埋忠骨头 (Loyal bones are buried everywhere in the green hills).

Watch “Moranbong Band – Chinese songs (중국노래)”. This all-woman band can also really play revolutionary rock ‘n’ roll. Check out their channel while there.

Enjoys the beautiful melody 🎶 , and touching lyrics.

Cheers, Chua
