Religion & Politics are intimately intertwined ::: FREEDOM : POWER : LIFE
Religion & Politics are deeply intertwined.
They have always been deeply intertwined and it will always be so because Religion & Politics both address three realities that are absolutely essential and abysmally dear for all of us human beings living on this Earth ::: FREEDOM : POWER : LIFE.
POWER (how to get it & share it, how to use it and not abuse it, how not to be possessed by it, etc.) is the central object of Politics. Institutional religions are part of Politics needless to say.
Absolute FREEDOM translated in practical, INCARNATED LIFE is the essence of *true religion.
FREEDOM is necessarily absolute because if it’s relative freedom, then it’s a bargain not real FREEDOM, then pertaining to Politics & institutional religions/POWER and not pertaining to *true religion/FREEDOM.
Without LIFE, there is neither POWER (Politics) nor FREEDOM (Religion).
■ One’s Religion & Politics are intimately related to one’s epistemological development, meaning one’s intimacy with LIFE.
it is quite exhilarating that the Bodhisattva (Compassion in Action) in the movie *The Matrix* is named Trinity : Tri-Unity : Three in One.
Three for FREEDOM : POWER : LIFE or BEING : HAVING : LIVING or Truth-Goodness-Beauty : Having : Living
In the Chinese lexicon, Three in One is :
POWER/HAVING is the LOWER TRIGRAM of the I Ching
FREEDOM/BEING is the UPPER TRIGRAM of the I Ching
LIFE/LIVING is the whole HEXAGRAM of the I Ching
■■■ Three for the 3 paths always open in all circumstances of real incarnated life, i.e. Reacting, Suppressing, Awareness.
● Having enough or abundant POWER
*REACTING*
Fighting or running away & coming back later for much more fighting with stronger and better Tools of Power. All this from the drive of the layers of accumulated memories, from the layers of socio-familial conditionings.
It’s the Matrix’s RED PILL meaning LIVING MOSTLY *OUTSIDE.
*RAGA* : GRASPING & FIGHTING *OUTSIDE
● Having little or practically no POWER
*SUPPRESSING*
It’s the Matrix’s BLUE PILL or for darker views BLACK PILL meaning LIVING MOSTLY *INSIDE.
*VIRAGA* : REJECTING & FIGHTING *INSIDE
● BEING : with this level, POWER/HAVING is not really relevant, the dimension of HAVING is neither prized nor rejected, it’s simply part of human reality.

BEING AWARE & LIVING with both FACTS (outside) and MYTHS (inside)
