The US is essentially the product of Four Coercive Religious Utopias

For the author Richard Miniter, the US is fundamentally the product of FOUR COERCIVE RELIGIOUS UTOPIAS, historically related to the English Civil War of the XVII century (Charles I Stuart vs Oliver Cromwell) and linked to the following four groups :

1 ● The Puritans aka the Round Heads for whom Liberty is the Freedom to impose virtue : I have no hesitation of identifying them with the present days religious hypocrites of the United States of Israel (USI) and the rabid Evangelical sects (Scofield Bible and its derivatives).

I suggest that the following contemporary phenomena seen within the Anglosphere, from regular citizens or government officials, especially when dealing with foreign states’ representatives and when abroad in official mission or not, are deeply related to this group : virtue-signalling, religious hypocrisy, unhinged eschatological mumbo-jumbo, sanctimonious preaching, holier-than-thou attitude.

And the same basic attitude is there for very opposite ideas, for example conservative Christian doctrine versus Woke ideology with everything in-between.

A perfect illustration that it’s not really the words or concepts which truly matter but Being.

2 ● The Cavaliers for whom Liberty is the Freedom to impose a social hierarchy : the US upper class having ancestors going back 350-400 years.

3 ● The Hillbillies for whom Liberty is the Freedom to be left alone but they were anti-education and quite oppressive for women : still the same Hillbillies today.

4 ● The Merchants for whom Liberty is the Freedom for making money but they also wanted Law & Order for punishing corruption & thievery : Awwwww … no need to name names except that they made laws so convoluted allowing them to steal with impunity nowadays.
