Bytedance is not allowed to sell TikTok according to Chinese laws. IT’S THE LAW, STOOPID !!!

Why do US Congressmen not know that THE CHINESE LAWS absolutely forbid Bytedance or any Chinese companies to sell TikTok (TikTok is part of Bytedance and Bytedance is a Mainland Chinese company) ?

To be precise, Bytedance cannot sell the algorithm linked to TikTok BECAUSE Bytedance got the licence from the Chinese State for using the Chinese users’ data to train the AI for the aforementioned algorithm.

And from a very down-to-earth perspective, TikTok doesn’t need the US market to survive.

It’s part of the US Congress members’ job to get the right information in performing their duties.

Maybe I am demanding too much …
