CONFUCIUS or WHAT TO DO WHEN ELITES BREAK THE RULES

Really funny & informative 34 minutes long vid on Confucius (551-479 BCE) & Confucianism. And what’s much better, absolutely awesome rapprochements with our time and the clear demonstration of the utter relevance of Confucian philosophy nowadays. Also a short, perfect summary on Legalism or more precisely, the Legalist zeitgeist.

Moreover, there are sarcastic short vignettes hilariously mocking the British (Western) politico-philosophical overbearing pretensions.

The Chinese name for Confucianism is 儒 家 (Ru2 Jia1), the School of the Scholars.

The Chinese name for Legalism is 法 家 (Fa3 Jia1). My translation for 法家 is PPSA : Principles & Practices of Statecraft & Administration. The shorter version would be Statecraft & Administration or simply the Art of the Ruler.
