This specific case concerning India shows to what extent the British (or otherwise) colonial administrators were in cahoots with the local bourgeoisie compradores (people that I call with much discourtesy the house niggers) for coralling the general population.

The British colonial administration needed a native justification for uniform tax collection in India, so the very old text called *Manusmriti* has been most useful.

The domination by the Brahmins in India for centuries has been utterly strengthened by the British colonial rule when the British decided to use the Manusmriti (usually translated in English as The Laws of Manu) for giving a native legal framework for tax collection.

There is also a short segment on the Aryan theory coming from the linguistic discovery by Friedrich Max Müller (1823-1900) of the Indo-European languages family tree (1847) *The Aryan theory* a fabrication when compared to the FACTUAL DISCOVERY of the Indo-European languages family tree, has been used, needless to say, for more colonial exploitation.

Yet another case of scientific discoveries diverted to questionable goals.

Also a word on Bal Gangadhar Tilak (1856-1920), the father of the Hindutva ideology which is the backbone of Narendra Modi’s BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party : Indian People’s Party) and of the RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh :National Volunteers Corps), the Hindu right-wing, even fascist, socio-political organization which has considerably assisted Narendra Modi, the present Prime Minister of India, in his political career.
