■■■ The word *myth* means mostly seven things. A myth is first and foremost a *story* It’s from the Greek word *muthos* which means a story. A myth is a *NARRATIVE* FOR EXPRESSING :

1 ● Ideals inspired by Role Models

2 ● Events horizons, Ultimate Goals of a group or of a given person

3 ● Collective Values embodied in a literary written corpus or transmitted by oral tradition

4 ● Fairy tales about the gods & the demons

5 ● Wishful thinking

6 ● Propaganda and brainwashing material

Let’s NEVER forget that high quality brainwashing material is made of an optimal combination of FACTS & non FACTS : 90-95% of facts & 5-10% of questionable content.

7 ● Outright Lies

●●● The epistemologically developed persons are endowed with STABLE AWARENESS for separating the facts from the questionable content, for making the distinction between the FACTS and the MYTHS.

And not all myths are necessarily bad, inasmuch that one is endowed with the much needed STABLE AWARENESS.
