What Would China be like without the CCP, without the Chinese Civilization Party aka the Chinese Communist Party ?

Here’s my view.

Without the CCP, the Chinese Civilization Party aka the Chinese Communist Party, China most probably would be in a state of utter chaos or at least in a state of relative chaos and certainly not at the level of her present (2025) socio-economic and human development.

●●● For me, the present rulers of China are not really communist.

●●● China’s political regime is uncannily close to Singapore’s political regime.

Not a surprise because Deng Xiaoping (1904-1997) talked seriously with Lee Kuan Yew (1923-2015) the founding father of Singapore. Lee Kuan Yew also met Mao Zedong (1893-1976) in May 1976, barely 4 months before Mao’s death on September 9, 1976.

●●● More fundamentally at the philosophico-cultural level and going back in time, Beijing’s governance and Singapore’s governance share 2 common roots : CONFUCIANISM & LEGALISM.

Beijing’s and Singapore’s governments are both CONFUCIAN-LEGALIST STATES in reality.

For facilitating the Westerners’s understanding of what is a Confucian-Legalist State, I suggest the following 10 criteria :

1 ● Meritocracy

The best favored.

It is inscribed within the natural hierarchical order.

See point 10 on VERTICALITY for details.

2 ● Actions speak louder than words

High quality spoken words and written words are valued for the Confucian mindset but not as valued as true actions for cultivating yourself, for putting order within your family, for assisting in the governance of the State and for bringing peace to the World.

3 ● Political authority and administrative powers are in the hands of an elite made of philosophical men, aristocratic men and timocratic men.

4 ● Extreme allergy to the mob : the fake timocratic men (sophists),the plutocratic men, and the democratic men. The mob is deprived of political powers but their civil rights are guaranteed and is often earnestly consulted. They can change their lot by evolving epistemologically.

5 ● Political conservatism (VERTICALITY), capable of real practical reforms

6 ● Social conservatism historically but more versatile & flexible nowadays

7 ● Economic openness linked with socio-economic pragmatism

The Chinese mindset is pragmatic with certain dimensions about everyday life, NOT WITH THE ONTOLOGICAL VERTICALITY.

8 ● Innovations welcome after being earnestly examined.

9 ● People with technical skills (including the talent for making money) are seen as subordinate to the aristocratic men but valued at their proper places.

10 ● In one word : VERTICALITY

● The Realm of Awareness : Stages 6-5-4 (The Rulers)

■ The Animal Kingdom : Stages 3-2-1 (The Mob)

6 ● Philosophical Men : Infinite Awareness

5 ● Aristocratic Men : Honor, Justice, Creativity

4 ● Timocratic Men : Honor, Justice

The aristocratic education for going higher for those willing of making the effort

3 ■ Fake timocratic Men : Sophists, Scams

2 ■ Plutocratic Men : Centered on profits

1 ■ Democratic Men : Hedonism, Tribalism

●●● For historical reasons, when China was weak, only the newborn Soviet Union (1922) was willing to help her hence the Sun-Joffe Manifesto signed on January 26, 1923 and the subsequent use of communism.

Let’s also not forget the creation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in July 1921.

Mao Zedong (1893-1976), the founding father of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) was one of the CPC founding fathers but he was at a junior position at the time.

The 2 major founding fathers of the CPC in 1921 were Chen Duxiu (1879-1942) and Li Dazhao (1889-1927).

Sun Yat-Sen (1866-1925), the founding father of the Republic of China (ROC).

Adolph Joffe (also written Yoffe or Ioffe) (1883-1927) Bolshevik politician and Soviet diplomat.
