WHY it’s really difficult for the West to understand China
This video explained with pristine clarity all the archetypal epistemological mistakes the Westerners made and are still making in their endeavor of understanding China.
And I don’t exclude the people with utterly malevolent intentions wishing to contrive a caricatural portrait of China in order to smear her or for money.
I wrote the paragraph just above especially because the narrator mentioned Gordon Chang the chang-ching-chong.
But this video first and foremost addressed the real predicament of people with good intentions and with a sincere desire for exploring and building knowledge trying to grasp what China is because fundamentally, they cannot think outside of the box containing the usual Western mental categories.
Quite good for a video lasting only 22 minutes.
I SUGGEST TO THE NON CHINESE ESPECIALLY THE WESTERNERS READING THESE LINES TO REMEMBER THE FOLLOWING :
CHINA IS NOT GOING TO BECOME WESTERN, CHINA WILL BECOME MORE CHINESE, A MODERN, TECHNOLOGICALLY ADVANCED CHINA, A GLOBALLY INTERCONNECTED VERSION OF CHINESE CIVILIZATION ENDOWED WITH THE TOOLS OF POWER ENSURING THAT THE CENTURY OF HUMILIATION (1839-1949) WILL NEVER REPEAT AGAIN.

… WHETHER THE WEST CAN BUILD A WORKABLE RELATIONSHIP WITH A *powerful* NATION that organizes itself differently and endowed with a civilizational matrix made by original creators millennia ago having nothing to do with the West (China) ?
So try to see that there are obvious insurmountable civilizational differences (cultural, religious, historical, socio-familial, organizational, philosophico-political, etc.) AND ESPECIALLY that the West is no longer in a position of imposing its views or its preferred organizational model to anyone especially to China.
NOT AN EASY TASK for a Western population which from the oligarchs to the White trash, is essentially made of delusional entitled morons used to interact mostly in the last 250 years with slaves and house niggers (of all skin tones) AND still keeping on like that in mindset and behavior for many if not for most of them BUT the longest and most arduous journey starts with the first step even for the dumbed-down and epistemologically inferior Western delusional entitled morons.
